Overview
2
The TurboStack department concentrator chassis can be configured to
connect hubs across a standard (or non-segmented) backplane. In this
configuration, a fully populated department concentrator comprising eight
hubs behaves as a single hub in the network topology. This enables you to
build and reconfigure networks easily, efficiently, and at minimum
expense.
Note
For a detailed explanation of ATI’s TurboStack chassis/backplane
offerings, refer to the
TurboStack™ Chassis and Backplanes Installation
Manual.
This manual describes the physical features and installation
procedures for the chassis models.
