AT-MC13 Media Converter Installation Guide

3. Set the MDI/MDI-X switch as follows:

 If you are connecting a workstation to the twisted pair port, set the

MDI/MDI-X switch to the MDI-X position. MDI-X is the deafult

position.

 If you are connecting a hub or switch to the twisted port pair, set

the MDI/MDI-X switch to the MDI position.

4. Apply power to the media converter.

 For instructions on how to apply power to an AT-MC13 media

converter, refer to “Powering on an AT-MC13 Media Converter”

on page 30.
