You may also need to adjust the flooding parameters. Follow these

recommendations when configuring the flooding parameters for a

point-to-point bridge:

❑ If there are no wireless end devices on the secondary LAN, the

access point on the secondary LAN can use the default flooding

settings.

To configure the master (in the point-to-point bridge on the primary

LAN), perform the following procedure:

1. From the Main Menu, select the link corresponding to the radio that

you are configuring.

2. Select Wireless Bridging. The Wireless Bridging screen as shown in

Figure 43 is displayed.

3. Select the down arrow on the right side of the Node Type field and

choose Master then Submit Changes. Your changes are saved and

the Wireless Hops parameter appears.

4. Select the down arrow on the right side of the Wireless Hops field

and choose Enabled then Submit Changes. Your changes are saved

and the Hello Period parameter appears.
