AT-S26 Version 2.2.2 Management Software Release Notes
PN 613-50264-00 Rev A 2 Allied Telesyn International
New Feature in Version 2.2.2
• Web Browser Management
The option for disabling web browser management on the switch has been enhanced.
Disabling web browser management now increases the protection to the switch from
attacks by denial-of-service viruses, such as Code Red.
• Port Trunking with the Gigabit Ethernet Ports
The management software now supports port trunking on the six Gigabit Ethernet ports
on the switch. Version 2.0.1 of the management software supported port trunking only on
the expansion modules. For information on this new feature, refer to Operational Notes
later in this document.
Resolved Issues in Version 2.2.2
• MIB object dot1dBaseNumPorts
The MIB object dot1dBaseNumPorts always returned the value 0. This has been corrected.
• SNMP Management Program and MAC Addresses
A switch did not always return the correct MAC addresses when queried by a SNMP
management program. This problem has been resolved.
• Activity Monitor Message
The Activity Monitor would occasionally display the superfluous message “Found Mac All
Counts=0033 Loop_count=0013.” This problem has been resolved.
• Port Trunks and linkDown Traps
The management software would generate multiple linkDown traps when a link in a port
trunk failed. This has been corrected. The software now generates only one linkDown trap.
• Static MAC Addresses
This software version supports static MAC addresses. You can enter up to 255 static MAC
address per port. For instructions on displaying and modifying the static MAC address
table, refer to Chapter 4 in the AT-S26 V2.0.1 User’s Guide.
• Web-based Management Session and the Graphical Switch Image
Previous versions of the management software did not display the graphical image of the
AT-9006 Series Switch in a web-based Omega management session. This problem has
been resolved. For further information on the graphical image, refer to Chapter 1 in the
AT-S26 V2.0.1 User’s Guide.
• Redundant Power Supply (RPS) Status
The Diagnostics window now includes status information on an RPS, if installed.
