SET SWITCH INFILTERING

Syntax

set switch infiltering=yes|no|on|off|true|false

Parameters

infiltering Specifies the operating status of ingress filtering. The

options are:

yes, on, true Activates ingress filtering. The

options are equivalent. This is the

default.

no, off, false Deactivates ingress filtering. The

options are equivalent.

Description

This command controls the status of ingress filtering. When ingress

filtering is activated, which is the default, tagged frames are filtered

when they are received on a port. When ingress filtering is deactivated,

tagged frames are filtered before they are transmitted out a port. To

view the current setting, use the “SHOW SWITCH” on page 62. For further

information on ingress filtering, refer to the AT-S63 Management

Software Menus Interface User’s Guide.

Example

The following command deactivates ingress filtering:

set switch infiltering=off
